An Overview of the 360-Degree View Monitor Available in Select 2021 Mazda Models
Your vision when on the road is imperative. Even at slow speeds in a parking lot or tight corner, being able to know what’s around you is incredibly important. One such feature that provides this is the 360-Degree View Monitor, a feature now added at top trim levels of select 2021 Mazda models. We go over the system at Kelly Mazda, which helps provide visuals all around the vehicle.
What is the 360-Degree View Monitor?
Available in select trims on the 2021 Mazda CX-5, Mazda3 Sedan Turbo, and CX-30 Turbo, the 360-degree View Monitor helps provide additional vision around your vehicle. The system consists of various sensors that provide visuals to four total areas: the top, front, sides, and rear. These systems are displayed in their given sections on the MAZDA CONNECT™ Infotainment screen. Parking sensors – such as the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and other sensor systems – provide additional warnings and markers to watch for when moving.
How To Use the 360-Degree View Monitor in a 2021 Mazda Vehicle
To start using the 360-Degree View Monitor in a Mazda vehicle, follow the following steps:
- The Vehicle is Turned ON
- Select the Button on the lower-left hand side of the steering wheel.
- The selector Lever is on a position other than R (Reverse)
- If it is in Reverse, it will display only the Rear View Camera
- To toggle the selected screen, simply press the button.
The system is a great way to slowly maneuver in areas such as parking lots and spaces, as well as tight areas. The system functions when the vehicle is going under 9.3 miles per hour. You can also change certain settings with the system, such as making it a default view when the ignition is turned on or places it as a priority screen once the Infotainment System turns on.

With the available 360-degree View Monitor, Mazda vehicles can navigate through tight spaces or provide additional vision in busy areas. While it does not replace the use of your own vision (as the images are reversed and may not be an exact measurement of distance), it’s a strong tool to use. Stop into Kelly Mazda to find a 2021 Mazda model – or one from previous years – in our inventory.
