What is the New Power Output of the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata?

As a roadster, the Mazda MX-5 Miata has always prioritized fun over power. This has allowed the MX-5 Miata soft top and RF hardtop models to be priced affordably for more of the public to enjoy. However, that doesn’t mean the addition of more power to the Mx-5 Miata isn’t a welcome occurrence. The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata is now on its way with improved power output, new performance features, and much more to further improve the thrills of your driving experience!
2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Engine Specs
The already established performance of the SKYACTIV-G® 2L engine found inside the MX-5 Miata has been made even better. Now, drivers of the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata will have an even more responsive 181 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque provided from under the hood. This is an incredibly marked improvement from the 2018 model which produced 155 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque.

In addition to its increased power output, the 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata will also feature many design choices and pieces of technology to further improve performance. Some of those announced include:
