Engine and Performance of the 2021 Mazda6
The 2021 Mazda6 can be equipped with Mazda’s Skyactiv®-G 2.5 turbo engine. Which can deliver up to 250 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 320 lb-ft of torque at 2,500 rpm. This engine is engineered to be ultra-responsive at low rpm and is an absolute delight to sports car enthusiasts. This sedan is a front-wheel drive (FWD) with SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and sport mode. It is also equipped with a Rack-and-Pinion Electric Power-Assist Steering (EPAS) with a turning circle diameter of 39.36 feet. It also features a MacPherson strut with a stabilizer bar for the front suspension and a multilink strut with a stabilizer bar for the rear suspension.

To ensure a smooth and stable driving experience, the 2021 Mazda6 also features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS). Other standard safety features include Lane Departure Warning System, Lane-keep Assist, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and High Beam Control.
