While continuing its vast feature list from 2020, the 2021 Mazda CX-5 makes several significant additions. The most obvious change comes in the available 10.25-inch Full-Color Touchscreen Display, improved from the 8-inch option. Inside, it offers a Rear-View Camera as well as compatibility with several major mobile device systems, such as Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Though its safety features were an improvement last year, it also adds both the Smart City Brake Support – Reverse and the 360-degree View Monitor to the Signature trim.

Similar to 2020, the 2021 Mazda CX-5 offers two separate engine options. The base option is the Skyactiv®-G 2.5-liter engine. With up to 187 horsepower and a combined fuel economy of an estimated 28 MPG, it’s a solid option for any small crossover. However, its 2.5-liter Dynamic Pressure Turbocharged provides the most performance. Armed with 250 horsepower and 320 ft-lbs of torque, it provides the main Mazda experience. Both options have access to the i-ACTIV® AWD feature, though it is standard with all turbo engine models.
